MeitY exempts Highly Specialized Equipment from CRS under specific conditions

The qualifying criteria are: equipment powered by a three-phase supply; equipment powered by a single-phase supply with current rating above 16 Amperes; equipment larger than 1.5m x 0.8m in dimension; or equipment weighing more than 80 kg.
This amendment takes effect from 15 June 2026.
